Holiday Closing
All Springfield City Library locations will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
Taekwondo Demonstrations
Kids aged 6 to 12 are invited to a Taekwondo demonstration and mini-lesson at the Springfield City Library. Instructors from Master Han's Olympic Taekwondo studio in East Longmeadow will demonstrate self-defense basics. Click here for the schedule.

Videogaming for Teens

Board Games for Teens!
Teens are invited to the Springfield City Library for some strategy game-playing sessions. The games, Scrabble, Othello, Mancala, and Chess, offer challenging, creative outlets for the hot summer days and are offered as part of the Library's Expect the Unexpected Summer Reading Club for Teens. Foundation Directory Database Class
An introduction to the Foundation Directory Online database will be given on Friday, August 8, from 10 - 11:30 am and on Wednesday, August 13, from 6 - 7:30 pm in the Central Library Computer Lab. Click here for details and registration info.
