Online book review form - print out and drop off .

Teens, ages 12 - 18, read a novel or non-fiction book between March 1 and March 24 and submit your brief review to your branch library. Review/entry forms are available at all Springfield City Library locations or with our online book review form -- just print it out, fill in, and drop off at your local branch. You will then be entered into a raffle to win a FREE ticket to the Springfield Armor basketball game on March 29. ( One entry per teen, ages 12 - 18.) As a bonus, winners will go on the court as honorary ball girl or ball boy for the night! In addition, kids and teens are encouraged to stop in to the Central Library Community Room, 220 State Street, on Monday, March 15, from 4 - 5 p.m. to listen to two Springfield Armor players read a story, answer questions, and pose for photos. Teens, ages 12-18, join Ken Hohenberger, STCC Professor of Computer Technology, on Wednesday, March 24 from 4-6 p.m., at the Central Library for a FREE hands-on computer workshop. You'll learn how to keep your computer running at top speed using the latest security. Teens will also get a chance to try some simple hardware upgrades at this hands-on workshop. Sign up online, stop in to the Teen Central desk , or your branch library, or call 263-6828, ext.425.

Teen Game Day at the Library

Teens 12 to 18, bring a friend and play our Wii, Playstation2, and Guitar Hero games in the Central Library's Community Room on Wednesday, March 10, from 4-6:30 p.m. To register, stop by the desk in Teen Central or your branch library, call 263-6828, x425, or sign up online. Snacks will be served, so come and join the fun at the Library!

Teens can directly influence social and educational programs for their age group at the Central Library by joining the library's Teen Advisory Board. The group meets on Wednesdays, twice a month, from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Central Library Community Room, located at 220 State Street.
