New Chat Service!
The Springfield City Library is partnering with the Worcester Public Library to provide a "Chat with a Librarian" service. The service will be provided Monday through Friday, 3 - 5:30 pm. When a librarian is unavailable, you can leave your email address and question.

Needs Assessment Survey for the City of Springfield

Geolocation Access to Databases is Here!
Authentication by geolocation for statewide electronic resource remote access is now available. Anyone living and working in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts now has access to the full suite of Gale databases, as well as the Proquest group of newspapers (excluding the Springfield Republican) without typing in a library card number!
